Prices and Booking

Every job is unique. That's why I bid most jobs independently (I do offer a few standard portrait packages, see details below). I base all my prices on an estimate of my time, the need for an assistant, travel expenses, post processing, and a variety of other factors. To receive a quote for a specific job, please contact me. I will ask a series of questions to determine your photographic needs and how I can best meet them. Based on your needs and the cost of travel (an amount based on Google maps mileage or current lowest airfare, depending on distance), I will compile a quote for your approval. I can send this information by e-mail or regular mail. From there we can work to arrive at a final agreement. I do not consider my time "booked" until I have received a non-refundable deposit (typically 20-25% of the total amount, the exact deposit amount will be included in the quote). *Note: For remote travel assignments risk to myself and my equipment may be factored into the bid.

Senior Portrait Packages

Silver Package-$205
This package allows for 4 changes of clothing in 2 locations within 40 miles of Ashland (clients are required to provide their own transportation to and from locations). It includes touch-ups to six images, black & white conversion for two images, two 8x10 prints, four 5x7 prints, and thirty-two wallet-size prints. Additional touch-ups are available for $5 per image and additional prints are available at the prices listed at the bottom of this section. A non-refundable $60.00 booking deposit is required.

Gold Package-$255
This package allows for 6 changes of clothing in 3 locations within 40 miles of Ashland (clients are required to provide their own transportation to and from locations). It includes touch-ups to eight images, black and white conversion for two images, four 8x10 prints, four 5x7 prints, and forty wallet-size prints. Additional touch-ups are available for $5 per image and additional prints are available at the prices listed at the bottom of this section. A non-refundable $60.00 booking deposit is required.

Duluth Packages
I live in Ashland, but I love Duluth. I'm more than happy to come to Duluth or Superior for a weekend shoot, but I need to charge a little bit more to cover my travel and meals. Please contact me for special pricing in the Duluth-Superior area. Better yet find three or four friends that all want to book me for the weekend and I'll drop the travel charges.

Custom Package-Custom Pricing
Do you have a great idea that doesn't fit into the Silver or Gold Package? Want to save money with one change of clothes in one location? Want ten changes of clothes in ten different locations? Tell me what you want to do and we can work together to figure out a price. A non-refundable $60.00 booking deposit is required.

Fine Art Prints

I have a wide variety of fine art prints available for purchase. Prices vary depending on the specific image, but prices generally range from $15.00 to $18.00 for 5x7 prints and $25.00 to $32.00 for 8x10 prints. Prints can be mounted on standard frame size white matte board for an additional $5.00 per print. Other print dimensions are available, but pricing varies widely for non-standard sizes. Art Portfolio Slides

Many artists need a strong digital portfolio for entry into juried competitions, online sales, arranging gallery exhibits, or applying to graduate or artist-in-residency programs. Many artists try to create their own portfolio images, but it can be very difficult to take good photos that accurately represent your work. Remember, no matter how good your art may be, with out good pictures no one will know. Using portable equipment, I can come to wherever your work is stored and create images that accurately portray the color, texture, shape and detail of your two- or three-dimensional art.

Two Dimensional- $10.00 per slide with a minimum of 5 slides per shoot. Images are balanced for accurate color and emphasize texture. Final images can are delivered on CD as high resolution JPEG or TIFF files. Bulk discounts are available: 9 slides for $85.00 or 12 slides for $100.00. Bids for shoots more than 40 miles from Ashland will also include travel expenses.

Three Dimmensional- $12.00 per slide with a minimum of 4 slides per shoot. Images are balanced for accurate color and emphasize shape and texture. Final images are delivered on CD as high resolution JPEG or TIFF files. Bulk discounts are available: 9 slides for $100.00 or 12 for $120.00. Bids for shoots more than 40 miles from Ashland will also include travel expenses.
