About Hired Lens.

I am a photographer for hire. My name is Bob Gross and I'm based out of Washburn, Wisconsin. Alot of my work is in the Ashland, Washburn, and Bayfield area, but I also regularly travel for shoots. I offer a variety of photographic services ranging from senior portraits and weddings to remote assignment photography and art prints. In every photograph I make, I strive to capture striking images of our world that move the human spirit. From a family portrait taken on your front porch to a panoramic of the Andes Mountains from a summit in Ecuador, I am dedicated to creating art every time I release the shutter.

You'll notice that my photographic subjects vary greatly from people, products and still lifes, to wildlife, social events, and remote location photography. I have spent years honing my style and I am constantly researching and experimenting with new techniques. That growth is what feeds my passion for photography and brings me joy every time I look through the view finder, whatever my subject may be.
